About the role

The Safety Director oversees all safety protocols and initiatives within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all safety protocols and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
  • Develop and implement safety training programs
  • Respond to and investigate workplace accidents and incidents
  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to improve overall workplace safety

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of reducing workplace injuries and improving safety culture
  • Experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

  • $75,000 - $85,000 annually

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
