Safety Companion, ER, Per Diem

About the role

The Safety Companion is responsible for maintaining patient safety, reporting patient observation to the nursing team, and remaining in visual contact with the patient at all times unless otherwise instructed by licensed personnel. This role requires a pleasant, cooperative individual with a positive attitude who works well with all levels of people and remains professional under stress.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Effective interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association (AHA) ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required
• New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation
