The Virtual Safety Associate works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide remote supportive care for patients who require additional monitoring or assistance, promoting quality patient care, comfort, and a safe environment in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Primary Location: 2201 Chapel Ave West & Cooper Landing Rd, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Recognizes the patients, their family/designated care partner(s) in providing safety, compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient’s personal preferences, priorities, needs, and cultural beliefs and values.
• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Provides observation for safety of assigned patient(s).
• Reports observations of changes in patient’s condition/behavior to professional staff.
• Completes required reports and documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Interest in Behavioral Health Sciences preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $17.00 to $22.73 hourly. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e., 40‑hour equivalent); positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.
