About the role
The Safety Associate is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. This includes conducting safety inspections, training staff on safety protocols, and addressing any hazards or incidents promptly.Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the facility to identify potential hazards.
- Train new and existing employees on safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Respond to and investigate safety incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Participate in safety committees and initiatives to improve overall workplace safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
