About the role
Carroll Lutheran Village is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Safety Associate to join their mission-driven community. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the safety of the campus, residents, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections of buildings and grounds.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and resident assistance calls.
- Transport staff or residents within campus grounds as requested.
- Document incidents and maintain accurate reports.
- Affirm community safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and emergency personnel when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service while promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous safety, law enforcement, or related experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
- Must be dependable, observant, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
Qualifications

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position follows a rotating two-week pay period schedule. Week 1: Monday through Friday. Week 2: Three weekdays plus Saturday and Sunday. Schedules may vary based on departmental needs. This position also includes on-call responsibilities as required.
