Safety and Training Manager
About the role
The Safety and Training Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s Safety, Training, Environmental, and Occupational Health programs, with primary emphasis on workplace safety and employee training. This role leads the development and execution of programs designed to prevent workplace injuries, strengthen employee capability, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a proactive culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement. The Safety and Training Manager serves as the primary leader for workplace safety incidents, injury management, near misses, risk assessment, inspections, and regulatory compliance. The role also owns the overall employee training program, ensuring employees receive effective onboarding, safety, compliance, job-specific, and ongoing skills training.
