Safety Advisor- Owner's Rep
About the role
The Safety Advisor - Owner's Rep oversees the safe operations and practices of powerline crews in the field and on right-of-ways (ROWs), demoing and erecting transmission structures and installing conductors and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe operations and practices of powerline crews in the field and on right-of-ways (ROWs)
- Demo and erect transmission structures and install conductors and related equipment
Requirements
- 5+ years of safety experience
- Experience with transmission and distribution construction, substation construction, new lines construction, access roads, etc.
- A degree in Safety or related fields is preferred
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course preferred
- Transmission & Distribution experience
Physical Demands of the Job
- Moving long distances
- Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
- Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
- Working in extreme weather
- Being exposed to loud noises
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly
