Safety Advisor

Overview

The Safety Advisor – Construction in Cedar Rapids, IA is responsible for putting safety at the forefront of their job, prioritizing the client's needs, working well in a team setting, being self-managed, and being flexible when it comes to change and travel. They will work in a construction environment on a data center project scheduled to end in November 2026, working 6 days a week, 10 hours per day.

Requirements

• Five plus years of construction safety experience
• Experience overseeing mechanical crews/piping crews
• BSCP Cert preferred - CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.
• A degree in safety or related fields is preferred
• First-aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
• OSHA 30-hr Construction Certification

• Moving about long distances
• Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
• Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
• Working in extreme weather
• Exposure to loud noises
• Wearing personal protective gear correctly
