Safety Advisor

About the role

A Safety Advisor promotes and maintains a safe working environment within Mister Sparky Electric, an affiliate of Authority Brands Inc. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Safety Advisor works closely with management, employees, and external agencies to minimize risks, prevent accidents, and foster a culture of safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections and assessments in residential settings.
• Provide detailed estimates for recommended electrical work.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Cook up with install crews to ensure timely completion of approved work.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, estimates, and customer interactions.
• Stay current with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Respond to customer calls regarding significant electrical safety concerns.
• Coordinate with install crews to ensure timely completion of approved work.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical work, preferably in residential settings.
• Strong sales background and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations.

Pay

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule

Now hiring for a variety of weekly schedules, including a 4-day Monday-Friday flex schedule. We only require on-call Saturdays a few times a year!
