Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Fraud & Scams

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, partnering with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $245,000 – $285,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Define and categorize fraud and scams policies for case handling
• Investigate and neutralize organized fraud schemes, creating sustainable solutions
• Establish proactive fraud detection and communication strategies
• Develop dispute and chargeback strategies in collaboration with payment partners
• Measure fraud impact and efficiency to inform investment
• Create a playbook for contractor fraud review and manage quality assurance
• Stay informed on AI enforcement practices to enhance decision-making

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in payment fraud within fintech or marketplace environments
• Proven track record in building and scaling fraud prevention programs
• Strong knowledge of payment networks and dispute resolution mechanisms
• Ability to take ownership of projects, use data effectively, and prioritize demands
• Excellent written skills for technical and non-technical communication
• Judgment and collaboration skills to adapt to evolving workflows
