Safe@Home Safety Manager

Position Overview

Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy is seeking a Safe@Home Safety Manager to join their Intact Family Services team. This role supports children and families through in-home safety plans, maintaining family stability and child safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee in-home impending danger safety plans for families.
• Collaborate with Intact Family Services staff, community providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct in-home safety services and ongoing family support.
• Maintain the effectiveness of safety plans and report updates regularly.
• Arrange and coordinate safety service provider coverage as necessary.
• Keep accurate records, case notes, and required reports.
• Attend team meetings, court hearings, trainings, and other assigned functions.
• Protect confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required; MSW preferred.
• Safe@Home specialty certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in child welfare, family services, or related human services field preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-stress situations.
• Valid Illinois driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
