SA Cylinder Control Coordinator
About the role
The Strategic Account Cylinder Control Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring that Strategic Account cylinder balances are accurate and billing customers accurately. The role involves managing and coordinating large projects related to cylinder disputes and internal customer issues. This position also ensures compliance with contractual audit obligations surrounding Strategic Accounts.
Responsibilities
- Track Strategic Account customer agreements with cylinder audit/reconciliation requirements.
- Create reports for customers with even exchange requirements and work with branches to correct issues.
- Proactively review customers with no sales activity other than rent revenue and resolve if needed.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for charging rent and redeploying cylinders.
- Work with National Account Managers to increase revenue or reduce costs.
- Coordinate billing for loss of use when required.
- Create reports for senior management to understand cylinder exposure.
- Maintain accurate Strategic Account customer cylinder balances and rental billing.
- Act as a liaison between customers, branches, sales, special billing teams, and Customer Service/Collections Representatives.
- Promote best practices in cylinder management aligned with Strategic Account profitability goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Capable of working with all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year related work experience in a branch role, inventory management, or support
- Experience with SAP or Business Warehouse
- Industry experience or knowledge of Airgas business and production/distribution network
