Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
- Process customer returns and vendor returns as required.
- Package, label, prepare, and ship customer orders according to company and customer requirements.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities.
- Generate shipping documents, packing slips, and labels.
- Cooky coordinate shipments with carriers and schedule pickups as needed.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
Production Racking
- Review production schedules and prioritize jobs for processing.
- Select the appropriate racking method based on part size, shape, quantity, and processing requirements.
- Rack parts using wires, clips, bars, fixtures, or other approved methods.
- Unrack parts following processing while ensuring product quality and preventing damage.
- Stage materials and parts for production operations.
- Absorb and assist operators and production personnel as needed to support workflow requirements.
- Complete required production documentation accurately and timely.
- Inspect parts for obvious defects and report concerns to supervision.
General Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies, quality standards, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications

- Skills & Abilities: Education - High School Diploma or GED required, Experience - Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or production operations preferred, Certifications - Forklift Certification required or ability to obtain certification, Technical Skills - Basic computer skills, Experience with inventory systems, ERP systems, and shipping software preferred.
Physical Demands
- Constant standing and frequent walking throughout the shift.
- Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, grasping, and manual manipulation.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull material-handling equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in both warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to moving machinery, forklifts, chemicals, and production equipment.
- Temperatures may exceed 100°F in certain work areas.
- Noise levels may vary depending on production activity.
- Compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements is mandatory.
