Reports to: Building Principal

Requirements

• Current and valid Paraprofessional License
• 60 college credit hours or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol (CPI training preferred or willingness to train)
• Work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents, and administration
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and dependability
• Work with young children with special needs

Pay

$17.50/hour starting. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
