RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Full-Time Neonatologist for Employment in Toms River, NJ

About the role

The physician will deliver high-quality neonatal care in an inpatient setting at Community Medical Center and BMSCH. They will provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population, supervise and support advanced practice providers, neonatal fellows and other members of the healthcare team, participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication, maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, and may be asked to provide additional clinical coverage through extra shifts when needed. The physician will also participate in cross-coverage at affiliated sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality neonatal care in an inpatient setting at Community Medical Center and BMSCH.
• Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for advanced practice providers, neonatal fellows and other members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• May be asked to provide additional clinical coverage through extra shifts when needed.
• Participate in cross-coverage at affiliated sites as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
