RV Technician - Virginia

About the role

Ray Wakley's Care Care & RV Center, Liberty RV of Gettysburg, Holly Acres Marine & RV, Juniata Valley RV, Colton RV, Roadhouse Camper RV, Shady Maple RV, and STOLTZFUS RV & Marine are all seeking RV Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on recreational vehicles
• Handle various mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
• Ensure compliance with state inspections
• Use computer software for documentation and scheduling
• Work independently and as part of a team
• May require weekend and evening work

Requirements

• Experience with RV repairs, hitch work, and possibly walk-through inspections
• State inspection certification is a plus
• Willingness to obtain inspection certification if not already held
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Qualifications

• Technical skills in areas such as mechanical, electrical, carpentry, flooring, automotive, plumbing, electronics, machine repair, masonry, welding, glass installation, HVAC, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical skills
• Knowledge of RV systems and components
• Computer literacy for documentation and scheduling
• Customer service orientation
