RV Technician Apprenticeship

About the role

Bretz RV & Marine is seeking RV Technician Trainees to join their growing team. The position offers comprehensive training to become a Certified RV technician, focusing on preparing RVs for sale, installing accessories, and repairing mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare RVs for sale
  • Install accessories
  • Repair mechanical systems when they fail
  • Work directly with senior level technicians, service advisors, parts team members, and other co-workers

Qualifications

  • Experience (any two items from the list below and we teach the rest):
  • - 2 years high school shop class
  • - 2 years of experience working on / repairing automobiles (home or business)
  • - Basic understanding of 12V electrical (car audio, equipment, tractors, automobiles, etc.)
  • - Basic understanding of 110V electrical (residential or commercial)
  • - Basic ability in welding / fabrication
  • - Basic understanding of small engines
  • - Basic ability in construction / carpentry
  • - Basic ability in plumbing
  • - Basic ability in automotive accessory install

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, technical college degree preferred

Compensation

$18+ to start with earning potential of $30-$40 after training

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Be able to stand, walk or crouch for extended periods of time
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling frequently
  • Must be able to climb ladders

Work Attire

  • Requires wearing closed toe shoes
  • A technician uniform shirt will be provided
  • Blue or Black work pants (no denim jeans)
