RV Service Technician

About the role

Kunes RV is hiring entry‑level and experienced RV Service Technicians to troubleshoot and repair a variety of RV systems and appliances. The position includes a full‑time, in‑house RV Service Tech Apprenticeship Program with continued training for all experience levels. Candidates do not need specific RV experience but must be handy, dedicated, responsible, and professional. Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose RV problems.
• Discuss repairs with the RV service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to the RV service advisor.
• Provide labor time estimates to the RV service advisor.
• Monitor repair time and update the RV service advisor regularly.
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation.
• Complete story and/or documentation for repairs.
• Attend company and factory training.

Requirements

• Handyman experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry (or any combination of these).
• Ability to work with hands, troubleshoot, and follow technical instructions.
• Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and team‑player mindset.
• Experience working in an RV dealership environment is preferred.
• Certification from a college or technical school in a trade field (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, etc.) is helpful.
• RVDA/RVIA certification is a plus.

Pay

Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and skill set, with an hourly plus bonus incentive program and a signing bonus for qualified individuals.

Schedule

• 8‑hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Overtime available.
• Weekend availability may be required.
