RV Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable RV Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role you will independently diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, shop efficiency, and overall service quality.

Pay

Target hourly rate $25‑$50, with top performers earning $120,000+ annually.

Schedule

Flexible work schedules, including Saturdays; the shop is closed on Sundays.

Key Objectives

• Lead complex diagnostics and repairs to ensure timely and accurate service on a wide range of RV makes and models.
• Support service department performance by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a collaborative, high‑quality work environment.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship that enhances customer satisfaction and promotes repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units for customer sales.
• Learn and execute a “Get Ready” and customer orientation.
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including, but not limited to, electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to entry‑level and mid‑level technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands‑on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Personal set of tools.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods.
• Ability to lift 25‑50 lb with an assistive device.
• Comfort working in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises.
• Flexibility with work schedules, including Saturdays (closed Sundays).
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test.
• Demonstrated alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and core values.
