RV Body/Paint Shop Technician

About the role

Blue Compass RV is seeking Body/Paint Shop Technicians to join our team. We specialize in high-quality collision repair and painting of RVs. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with previous experience in auto, marine, and/or RV body repair.

Responsibilities

• Repair and fabricate damaged body panels of RVs, including replacement and painting.
• Occasionally replace windows and windshields.
• Train on other RV repairs when not involved in collision work.
• Perform repairs on various materials such as fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and composites.
• Proficiently spray both single-stage and base/clear paint systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custom vehicle painting, automotive painting, RV painting, or metal/body work.
• Experience in base coat clear coat applications and fades, pearls, and stripes.
• Ability to prep, refinish, and color match.
• Complete major painting repairs in a high-quality manner.
• Develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should be able to perform repairs on a variety of materials including fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and composites. Proficiency in fiberglass repair and finishing, metal replacement, and RV collision repair is required.
