About the role

The University of Georgia Department of Horticulture is seeking applicants as student workers with responsibility of operational management of field and container production of ornamental nursery crops along with supporting greenhouse and laboratory operations. Recruits will work to support an ornamental plant breeding program located at the Durham Horticulture Farm in Watkinsville, GA. The initial start date for this position is 3/1/2022 and continuation of the positions are contingent upon future funding.

• Physical Demands: Requires driving.
• Background Investigation: Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background investigation including, a criminal background check, confirmation of credentials and employment history, and a satisfactory credit check.
