About the role

Rustproof Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing rust-prone equipment in industrial settings. This includes inspecting machinery, applying protective coatings, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery for signs of rust and damage
• Apply rust-resistant coatings to prevent further corrosion
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance tasks
• Document findings and actions taken during inspections
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in industrial maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using common hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
