Russian Interpreter/Translator
Qualifications
- Hold an Associate's degree
- Be fluent in Russian
- Completed or currently enrolled in one of the interpreter training courses listed or equivalent
Responsibilities
Facilitate communication among students and parents who speak a language other than English.
Provide interpreting services and additional support services to students and parents who need assistance with the English language.
Be proficient in written translation.
Summary
The educational interpreter/translator has a primary responsibility for facilitating communication among students and parents who speak a language other than English. They also provide interpreting and additional support services to those who need assistance with the English language, and must be proficient in written translation.
