Job Description
The Rural School ODL Driver/Custodian is responsible for providing transportation services and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of school facilities.
- Operate school buses to transport students to and from school and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain school grounds, including cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all vehicles are in good working order and report any issues to maintenance staff.
- Assist teachers and staff with classroom setup and cleanup as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Experience with school bus operations and custodial duties preferred.
