Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the department.
• Performs darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties.
• Performs clerical duties for the department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
• Files patient reports and retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Demonstrates adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in department.
• Demonstrates good telephone etiquette and is able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Pay

The current compensation range for this role is $19.26. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
