About the role

As a Software Developer at Callibrity, you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic technical direction, interacting with key client stakeholders, and proving business ROI through innovative greenfield technology solutions. You will be part of a collaborative culture that values problem-solving and modern technology.

Responsibilities

  • Solve a broad subset of problems with a broader set of solutions by choosing the right language, framework, and tool for a problem
  • Work directly with key stakeholders at our clients to accomplish shared goals
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Proactively identify opportunities, challenges, and issues and recommend a solution
  • Demonstrate mastery of software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, Test Automation, CI/CD, TDD)
  • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new technologies including AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT
  • Thrive in an environment where there is close interaction among different roles and teams
  • Be admired by the client as someone they can count on, regardless of title or seniority

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
  • Previous working experience in high-growth technology companies and/or startups
  • Understanding of scrum, unit testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps
  • Knowledge of microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
  • Good experience with relational databases and AWS
  • Relevant professional experience in Information Technology and/or Consulting
  • A four-year degree or successful completion of a respected bootcamp/accelerator, or extensive mentorship program
  • Successfully solve Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges
  • Interpersonal skills: Influencer, professionalism and accountability, passion for learning, us not them mentality, shared responsibility
