About the role

The Rider team at Lime is responsible for improving the core riding experience, including signup, onboarding, trip flow, pricing, subscriptions, and more. This role involves identifying and solving strategic consumer-facing rider problems, architecting and building scalable foundational product platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping core rider experiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and solve strategically essential consumer-facing rider problems
• Architect and build highly scalable foundational product platforms
• Lead the cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Operations teams
• Mentor and support other engineers on the team
• Identify and develop future leaders
• Advise Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems

Skills

• Strong coding skills in Ruby on Rails preferred
