Our client, a leading organization in the technology and enterprise support sector, is seeking a RTC Administrator to join their remote team.
About the role
Serve as the primary administrator for the Rational Team Concert (RTC) / Enterprise Workflow Manager (EWM) platform. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and development teams. Assist with system upgrades, maintenance, and documentation of procedures. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement patches and system enhancements. Create comprehensive help guides, user documentation, and step-by-step instructions for platform users.
Responsibilities
- Administer the Rational Team Concert (RTC) / Enterprise Workflow Manager (EWM) platform
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and development teams
- Assist with system upgrades, maintenance, and documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement patches and system enhancements
- Create comprehensive help guides, user documentation, and step-by-step instructions for platform users
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in IT source management or 6+ years supporting similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) / Enterprise Workflow Management (EWM)
- Experience with mainframe development environments, including source control, build management, and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach and document technical procedures clearly
- Ability to support and maintain distributed and virtual environments effectively
