About the Role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Vibra Hospital of Northern California. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, specialized 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and 32-bed SNF providing long-term acute care services. Our patients often require critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller hospital, you’ll have the chance to build strong relationships with patients and their families in a friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department’s policy/procedure manual.
  • Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and setup/operation of various types of respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Additional Qualifications

  • One (1) year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $40.00/hr to $52.81/hr. This range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances.
