About the role

Respiratory Therapist (RT) position in a Skilled Nursing Facility Rehab Department for the 7pm‑7am shift. Work with a diverse, multi‑disciplinary team to perform assessments, treatments, and patient/family education to maintain and/or improve respiratory function. Flagstar Rehab offers direct employment through the agency or the option to be an independent contractor; assistance with setting up a corporation free‑of‑charge is available. Hourly pay rate is $75. Proof of COVID‑19 and flu vaccination will be requested.

Schedule

7pm‑7am shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient evaluations to assist physician in creating or updating patient’s Plan of Care.
• Independently carry out individualized Plan of Care by performing quality therapy services, including administering medication, as ordered by physician.
• Provide emergency airway management when necessary.

Requirements

• Current NJ RT License and Registration (out‑of‑state RRT and CRT licenses allowed)
• CPR Certification
• EMR Competence
• State Required Medical Documentation for work in a Skilled Nursing Facility (Physical, TB Test, MMRV Vaccine Record or Titers, COVID Vaccine Documentation)
• Valid Proof of Identity and Work Authorization
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
