About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders and protocols, with attention to patient age.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and managing mechanical ventilation
• Providing emergency care
• Assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubations
• Monitoring physiological responses
• Educating patients and families about their conditions and disease management techniques

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited associate’s degree respiratory program
• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida
• Strong clinical skills in respiratory care, emergency response, and patient education
