RT Equipment Inventory Tech PRN
About the role
The RT Equipment Tech is responsible for cleaning, sterilization, and processing of respiratory care equipment. Compiling and charting accurate records of equipment, oxygen, and supplies. Daily rounds to track patients receiving oxygen therapy, check availability of therapy gases, ensure adequate equipment is available for the therapist, and ensure safe function of flowmeters.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and sterilize all respiratory care equipment
- Communication with different departments.
- Maintain appropriate inventories of respiratory care supplies
- Maintain patients, department and billing records in accordance with CHCO and departmental policies and procedures
- Performs appropriate equipment maintenance and checkouts
Requirements
Education: High School Graduate
Area of Study: None
Experience: 6 months of work experience
Equivalency: Additional education may substitute for additional experience above required level.
Pay
Hourly range: $20.14 to $30.21 (pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience)
