Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver instruction aligned to Common Core State Standards and student IEP goals.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ensure access to general education curriculum.
- Implement accommodations, modifications, and inclusive practices that promote student success.
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with legal and school timelines.
- Collect and analyze academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional data to inform instruction and support.
- Track student growth and communicate progress with families and IEP teams.
- Work closely with general education teachers, service providers, and school leaders to ensure IEP fidelity and student access to the least restrictive environment.
- Participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings and lead IEP meetings with clarity and compassion.
- Partner with families to build trust and align supports across home and school.
- Oversee implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies and maintain documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education policies and timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation using Welligent and other SPED related school systems.
