RRT/RPSGT - West Chester Medical - Valhalla, NY

Responsibilities

• Facilitating tests and collecting data
• Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• Analyzing (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data to be submitted for further review
• Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Job Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• NY PSG and/or CRT/RT license(s) also preferred
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" in the State of NY preferred, but NY PSG and/or Respiratory Therapist license(s) required
• Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
• Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear; specific vision abilities required; use hands to operate office equipment; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally

Qualifications

Pediatric experience is required.

Pay range - 40-53 DOE (NO gaps of more than two months as RRT and/or RPSGT)

Work 3-4 nights per week from 8:00PM-6:00AM
