Respiratory Therapist PRN (as needed) position at Piedmont McDuffie in Thomson, GA.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments
- Conduct general respiratory care procedures and protocols
- Perform critical care procedures in adult care areas
- Conduct blood gas analysis
- Maintain and manage all respiratory equipment
- Provide patient education
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences (Required)
- No prior work experience required
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners (Required upon hire)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required upon hire)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Required upon hire)
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required within 60 days of hire)
