About the Role

Join Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, home of the Georgia Bulldogs, as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This role involves patient care across a 427-bed Level 2 Trauma Center, including 32 adult ICU beds, 12 adult CICU beds, a Level 3 Neonatal ICU (NICU-RRTs), and pediatric care. The position offers a pathway to professional fulfillment with cutting-edge technology and supportive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments
• General respiratory care procedures and protocols
• Critical care procedures in adult care areas
• Blood gas analysis
• Maintenance and management of all equipment
• Patient education

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous working experience or clinical rotations
• Great communication skills
• New graduates are welcome
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Licensed by the State of Georgia
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
