Responsibilities
- Performing patient assessments
- Administering general respiratory care procedures
- Critical care in adult care areas
- Blood gas analysis
- Equipment maintenance
- Patient education
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- No prior experience required
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (or ALS), and PALS
- Active practice and maintenance of all competencies
