About the Role
This position involves performing patient assessments, administering respiratory care procedures, and managing equipment in adult care areas. The role includes critical care procedures, blood gas analysis, and patient education to ensure optimal respiratory health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and deliver respiratory care according to protocols
- Perform critical care procedures in adult care settings
- Manage and maintain respiratory equipment
- Educate patients on respiratory health and treatments
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (or ALS), and PALS
- Active practice with maintained competencies
