Essential Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs
- Follow established sleep center protocols and provide age-appropriate patient education
- Prepare, calibrate, and operate sleep study equipment; apply electrodes and sensors according to published standards
- Perform routine PAP interface fitting and desensitization
- Deliver direct patient care during sleep studies
- Provide education on sleep lab procedures and testing expectations
- Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and documentation standards
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associate Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a healthcare setting with patient contact OR appropriate credentialing for the position
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required
- Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians as a Polysomnographic Technologist
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) (CPR) certification in compliance with policy
