Responsibilities

• Analyze RPG applications running on IBM iSeries/AS400.
• Document application functionality, dependencies, workflows, and business processes.
• Review DB2 data structures and data flows.
• Support discovery and planning for migration to a Java-based platform.
• Assist with limited RPG enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Work with business analysts, architects, stakeholders, and modernization teams.

Qualifications

• Strong RPG development experience, including RPG III, RPG IV, or ILE RPG.
• Hands-on IBM iSeries/AS400 experience.
• Solid DB2 database knowledge.
• Experience documenting legacy applications and business processes.
• Ability to explain technical findings clearly.

Nice to Have

• Retail or high-transaction industry experience.
• System integration or data migration exposure.
