RPA Developer (UiPath / PowerX)

About the role
As a member of the Amivero team you will use your empathy for a customer’s situation, your passion for service, your energy for solutioning, and your bias towards action to bring modernization to very important, mission-critical, and public service government IT systems. As an RPA Developer you will work as part of a team to support the enterprise-wide automation team, deployed to mission areas to provide rapid assessment and solutioning services, build MVPs, and coach embedded analysts using RPA technologies to streamline their business area.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement automation models.
- Provide technical support of RPA Automation development and implementation in UiPath.
- Architect and develop workflow-based solutions, as needed.
- Build code sequences to automate repetitive tasks and manual processes.
- Proactively monitor and measure the effectiveness of automations and troubleshoot, as needed.
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
- Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
- Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Act as team leader on projects.
- Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on development team.
- Work alongside Scrum Master and Business Analyst to align with agile best practices.
- Partake in a cadence of Scrum ceremonies.
- Create SOPs and similar process guides to support RPA clients.
Requirements
- Active Department of Homeland Security Public Trust, EOD, OR Top Secret clearance required for consideration.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- 3+ years supporting clients in RPA and Automation Tool Development / Maintenance.
- Understanding of Scrum team methods and agile best practices.
- Willingness to learn new programs and skills.
- Programming skills in R, Matlab, Java, Python, C, C++, C#, VB, or .NET.
- Ability to identify processes that are ideal for automation and creative problem-solving ability.
- RPA tool (e.g., UiPath, PowerAutomate) developer experience.
- Ability to follow design and coding standards and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
