About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to assist First Commerce in fulfilling our Vision: Empowering Generations, Transforming Communities. This is achieved through delivering Remarkable Member Service as defined by our Service Standards, building and maintaining strong member relationships, and identifying members' financial needs to recommend appropriate products and services. The RPA Analyst I creates and maintains automated solutions, documents programs, and supports complex business automation processes. They facilitate discovery sessions across multiple teams and business units and lead the adoption and implementation of RPA solutions within First Commerce.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business process owners and subject matter experts to develop a deep end-to-end understanding of processes targeted for automation and outline impacted processes and business requirements.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to develop business requirements documentation for processes to be automated in a manner understood by business users.
- Work with RPA team members to facilitate the planning and execution of RPA and other automation projects.
- Perform value analysis (ROI) for processes in collaboration with business units.
- Coordinate with business units and the RPA team to identify and support solution designs for production issues and enhancements.
- Identify scope, benefits, constraints, and risks for RPA automation initiatives; capture and document current state manual processes.
- Identify and document best practices for ongoing RPA adoption.
- Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to drive out requirements.
- Consider change management implications for implementation of new RPA processes.
- Deliver key business analysis artifacts using best practices and tools for the design, solution, and execution of medium and large projects.
- Document and diagram the existing environment and dataflows.
- Gather non-functional requirements such as security, capacity performance, and availability.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical resources.
- Define configuration specifications and business rule requirements.
- Help design, document, and maintain system processes.
- Create business cases and ROI submissions for review and approval.
- Escalate issues to third-party vendors for resolution and provide timely updates to team members.
- Cross-train and develop documentation for others to perform job duties when needed.
- Remain competent and current through professional development and training.
- Perform job duties in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors, NCUA, and applicable state laws.
- Comply with Reg E, BSA, OFAC, and CIP requirements, including reporting suspicious or unusual activity to a manager.
- Fully support First Commerce's Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Service Standards in actions and words.
Requirements
- Minimum of a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or technical school; a high school diploma with equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the financial services industry or in a programming capacity for a data processing department or computer service company.
- Experience working with automation software (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath).
- Experience analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI, and Visio or equivalent software.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend new and changing computer systems and technologies.
