Roving Relationship Teller

About the role

Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Teller for their roving team. This position will be responsible for providing high-level customer service in any of their 18 locations, primarily servicing the western market from Clarksville to South Boston.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the branch
• Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments
• Utilize product knowledge to recommend financial products and services to meet customer needs
• Maintain a cash drawer with proper controls and ensure it balances at the end of each day
• Count cash, enter information into a computer, comply with check-cashing guidelines, and look for fraudulent activity

Requirements

• 1-2 years of banking experience (preferred)
• Flexibility to travel as needed to different locations
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Basic math and computer skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Pay

Salary range: $17.00/hr. - $22.60/hr.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with benefits. The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Fridays 8:30 - 5:30 p.m. You will have your weekends free!
