ROV Senior Pilot Technician (Offshore)

About the role

Minimum 2 years of offshore ROV / Trencher / ROVDrill experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel perform tasks safely and efficiently according to approved procedures and Canyon Offshore QHSE Policy and Objectives.
• Stand in as system supervisor as directed by Canyon Offshore constraints.
• Stock-taking and inventory control of system spares and consumables.
• Maintain system and project documents (e.g. inventory, weekly reports, dive logs, video logs, etc.) under the direction of the Superintendent or Supervisor.
• Provide "on the job" training where necessary.
• Attend and chair weekly safety meetings when nominated.
• Conduct system maintenance in compliance with Canyon Offshore Maintenance System.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe.
• Carry out other tasks as delegated by Canyon Project Manager or Superintendent.
• Cultivate and maintain a positive attitude with self and crewmembers.
• Apply safe work ethics.

Requirements

Helix Robotics is hiring ROV technicians and supervisors with Perry (XLX/XLS) and Schilling (UHD/HD) experience. All applicants must be US citizens or hold valid US Green Cards.

Qualifications

Schedules range from fixed rotations to project call-out work.
