ROV Pilot Technician II (Offshore)

About the role

Offshore operations, data recording, maintenance, and repair of the ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill systems and ancillary equipment under the direction of Superintendent / Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill operations as directed and in accordance with approved procedures and Helix Robotics QHSE Policy and Objectives.
• Receive and perform inventory control of the system spares and consumables.
• Maintain system and project records (e.g., inventory, weekly safety reports, dive logs, video logs) under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor.
• Conduct maintenance in compliance with Helix Robotics Maintenance System and maintain records of maintenance.
• Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe.
• Carry out other tasks as delegated by Helix Robotics Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor.
• Cultivate and maintain a positive attitude.
• Apply safe work ethics.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment.
• Completion of HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf, and obtain a passport.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with Perry (XLX/XLS) and Schilling (UHD/HD) systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizens or valid U.S. Green Card holders).

Schedules range from fixed rotations to project call-out work.
