About the role
Offshore operations, data recording, maintenance, and repair of the ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill systems and ancillary equipment under the direction of Superintendent / Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill operations as directed and in accordance with approved procedures and Helix Robotics QHSE Policy and Objectives.
- Receive and perform inventory control of the system spares and consumables.
- Maintain system and project records (e.g., inventory, weekly safety reports, dive logs, video logs) under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor.
- Conduct maintenance in compliance with Helix Robotics Maintenance System and maintain records of maintenance.
- Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe.
- Carry out other tasks as delegated by Helix Robotics Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor.
- Cultivate and maintain a positive attitude.
- Apply safe work ethics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment.
- Completion of HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf, and obtain a passport.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Perry (XLX/XLS) and Schilling (UHD/HD) systems.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizens or valid U.S. Green Card holders).
Schedule
Schedules range from fixed rotations to project call-out work.
