Routing Supervisor

Schedule and route all customer orders for delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure timely delivery of all customer orders.
• Develop and maintain customer delivery schedule based on delivery priorities; ensure resources are utilized efficiently without costly errors.
• Print and batch customer invoices by delivery route.
• Closely work with night warehouse management to ensure proper loading of customer shipments.
• Daily communicate with sales representatives and warehouse management concerning customer deliveries.

Requirements

• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Quickly learn new industry-specific computer systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Education/Experience/Training:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Prior experience using Roadnet, Shiraz & Axapta systems.
• Physical Demands and Environment:
  • Strenuous in nature requiring frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds and lifting of objects exceeding 40 pounds.
  • Requires bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
  • Requires concentration to execute routine tasks.
  • Works in a warehouse environment with occasional exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemicals, and potential for accidents.
  • Exposure to hazards such as electricity, heights, operation of material conveyance vehicles and equipment.
