Routing Supervisor
About the role
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the routing team to ensure flawless execution of customer orders and deliveries. Lead staffing, training, coaching, and performance management while proactively addressing challenges and monitoring chargeback compliance. Collaborate across departments and manage vendor relationships to ensure established routing guidelines are consistently applied.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the routing team, including staffing, training, coaching, and delegating tasks effectively to ensure operational success
- Evaluate employee performance by providing consistent, timely, and actionable feedback while driving a positive approach to organizational change
- Ensure strict adherence to established customer procedures and routing guidelines across all daily operations
- Proactively resolve customer-related issues regarding orders, routing, and delivery, escalating complex problems to the Routing Manager when necessary
- Foster strong business relationships with carriers, facilities, and external vendors through a collaborative partnership approach
- Provide robust analytical support by creating, monitoring, and sharing accurate visibility reports and chargeback compliance data
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to gather, share, and align on critical operational information
- Perform other strategic initiatives and duties as requested
Requirements
- 4+ years of transportation and warehouse experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, customer vendor portals, and standard transportation or dispatch tools
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable mindset with exceptional time-management capabilities to successfully meet strict deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and customers
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining a highly professional attitude
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Pay
Salary range: $70,304.00 - $80,400.00 per year. Eligibility for annual performance incentive may apply.
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday on-site
- Optional work-from-home on Fridays
- Time off for vacation and sick leave
