Job Responsibilities
- Lead multiple electric transmission and linear infrastructure projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Provide technical leadership for transmission line siting, routing studies, and permitting, coordinating with engineering and environmental teams.
- Manage environmental studies, permitting, and regulatory compliance in accordance with NEPA and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Serve as primary point of contact with clients, regulatory agencies, landowners, and stakeholders, including public involvement efforts.
- Supervise and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, including scientists, planners, engineers, and technical staff.
- Develop and review environmental reports, permit applications, and technical documentation.
- Partner with senior leadership to support client relationships and business development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, ecology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with electric transmission siting, routing, and regulatory compliance.
- 3+ years of project and/or people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEPA and environmental permitting for linear infrastructure projects.
- Experience with routing studies, public involvement, and agency coordination.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
