What You'll Do
- Lead and Develop Your Team
- Coach, train, and support route service representatives to deliver exceptional customer service
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment
- Help improve route efficiency and daily operations
- Partner with branch leadership to achieve operational goals
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
- Build long-term relationships with restaurant, hospitality, and commercial customers
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services that benefit customers
Oversee Route Operations
- Manage service schedules and route performance
- Complete preventative maintenance on commercial dishwashing equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform mechanical repairs after training
- Deliver cleaning and sanitation products while educating customers on proper product usage
- Monitor route performance and communicate results with branch leadership
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency customer support
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2–3 years of supervisory, team lead, or management experience preferred
- Leadership experience in hospitality, retail, logistics, food service, manufacturing, service operations, or similar industries is highly valued
- Sales or account management experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience
Physical Requirements
- Candidates must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Lifting and transporting up to 70 pounds of cleaning chemicals
- Working in a physically active environment, indoors and outdoors
- Climbing stairs at customer locations
- Driving throughout the South San Francisco service area
- Working a typical 45–50-hour workweek, including overtime and occasional on-call responsibilities
