Route Service Driver

About the role

The Service Technician operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. This position is central to our business.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries.
• Conduct duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lift and push between 50 and 150 lbs frequently during the work shift.
• Service portable toilets to USS 8-point service standard.
• Interact with customers on-site to ensure services meet their standards.
• Adjust routes flexibly to meet customer needs and provide feedback to operations for efficiency.
• Plan strategically for customer needs by discussing portable toilet requirements to satisfy current and future demands.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements

• Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
• Use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Repeat the same movements.
• See details of objects both near and at a distance.
• Speak clearly so customers can understand and understand the speech of others.
• Hear sounds and recognize differences between them.
• Walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
• Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
• Lift up to 40 lbs from waist to shoulders and 30 lbs from the floor to head.
• Crouch and squat.
• Push and pull 100 lbs horizontally.

Pay

Salary Range: $20.42 – $27.57 per hour.
